A car service is an in-depth inspection that ascertains whether or not your vehicle is roadworthy and safe.
It covers a lot of vehicular facets, including the exterior, interior and mechanical integrity.
It can take anywhere between 90 minutes and three hours, depending on the type of service you require.
Car Service Plans are a great idea because they deliver essential maintenance at affordable prices, offering the opportunity to pay fixed, inflation-proof monthly instalments.
This will depend on the make and model you drive. Typically, we suggest having it replaced every 40,000 to 100,000 miles.
How often you need to change the oil will depend on your vehicle's manufacturer guidelines. If you’re not sure, don’t hesitate to contact us for advice.
Your car’s service history should provide details of all services, including the most recent one. If you have your car serviced with Bennett Renault, we’ll be able to provide details of its last service.
At Bennett Renault, we charge up to £54.85 for an MOT for vehicles with up to eight passenger seats.
It’s an annual test which is mandatory for vehicles aged three years or more. It checks your car’s roadworthiness (and exhaust emissions, if applicable).
During an MOT, we check many parts of a car, including body, towbars, fuel system, exhaust emissions, exhaust system, seatbelts, seats, doors, mirrors, load security, brakes, tyres and wheels.
An MOT certificate is valid for 12 months.
MOT means Ministry of Transport.
You can leave it at our premises, and with your prior permission, we’ll carry out essential repairs within 10 working days to ensure the retest is completed free of charge.
If it’s your car’s first MOT (or the first since a change of number plates), please bring its V5C logbook.
