How much does an MOT cost?

At Bennett Renault, we charge up to £54.85 for an MOT for vehicles with up to eight passenger seats.

What is an MOT?

It’s an annual test which is mandatory for vehicles aged three years or more. It checks your car’s roadworthiness (and exhaust emissions, if applicable).

During an MOT, we check many parts of a car, including body, towbars, fuel system, exhaust emissions, exhaust system, seatbelts, seats, doors, mirrors, load security, brakes, tyres and wheels.

What happens if my car fails its MOT?

You can leave it at our premises, and with your prior permission, we’ll carry out essential repairs within 10 working days to ensure the retest is completed free of charge.
