With the exception of the Kadjar and Trafic Passenger, every one of Renault’s currently manufactured vehicles is available in hybrid or electric form. The Renault ZOE, for instance, has only ever been available as an electric vehicle; this five-door city car comes well-specified as standard and offers a class-competitive 238-mile range.
The Clio and Arkana can be selected as mild-hybrid versions, self-charging vehicles that require no plug-in charging since their batteries are topped up on-the-move via regenerative braking. The Renault Clio Hybrid, incidentally, returns as much as 64.2mpg, while the Renault Arkana Hybrid, manages up to 57.6mpg, which is not bad at all for an SUV.
Last but by no means least is the Renault Captur, which is available as a mild hybrid or plug-in hybrid, the latter of which offers a 30-mile all-electric range.
