Blue Light Card and Defence Discount

Holders of a Blue Light or Defence Discount Card are eligible for discount with participating companies and manufacturers. The scheme is open to current and retired individuals that are eligible for Blue Light and Defence Discount. Find out more regarding eligibility, offers and FAQ's below.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the Blue Light or DDS Discount, you need to meet one of the following criteria:

Blue Light Card:

• Fire Service
• Ambulance Service
• Police Service
• NHS Staff
• Prison Service
• Serving RNLI

DDS Card:

• Current serving Armed Forces & Veterans
• Territorial Army
• All MOD Personal & veterans.

How do I get a DDS or Blue Light Card

• Contact a member of Renault's team at ddsandbluelight@renault.co.uk and they will assist you by sending over the relevant information in order for you to get your card.

Can I take out finance for my new car?

• The discounts shown are also available in conjunction with Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) and Hire Purchase (HP) via RCI Finance using specially selected rates that are available. You cannot use the discounts in conjunction with any other finance deals.

Can a family member purchase a car using my DDS or Blue Light Discount?

• Immediate family members of the card holder can use your discount, however you must provide a copy of your DDS or Blue Light Card in addition to photo ID when you order your vehicle. The family member using your discount will also need to provide photo ID. Immediate family include husband, wife, parent, brother or sister. A card holder can place three immediate family orders per year.
